Boiler Plant Replacement & Heating System Upgrade
Overview
We were appointed to deliver a comprehensive heating plant upgrade at a busy community health centre, replacing the ageing boiler installation with a modern, high efficiency system.
The project was undertaken to enhance the reliability and performance of the building's heating services while improving energy efficiency and maintaining continuity of operation throughout the works.

Scope of work
Following a comprehensive survey of the existing heating infrastructure, we designed and delivered a fully co-ordinated boiler replacement programme that included the removal of redundant plant and installation of 7 high efficiency 85k condensing boilers across 2 plantrooms. Works included new mechanical pipework, flue systems, and the testing and commissioning of the complete installation.
Working within an operational community health centre, all works were completed with minimal disruption to building users while ensuring full compliance with current building regulations, gas safety requirements and manufacturer specifications.
Key Activities
- Removal of existing gas boilers from isolation valves & removal of existing flues
- Installation of 7 Worcester Bosch Condense boilers with shunt pumps
- Installation of new flues to each boiler, with weathering flashing kits out onto roof extract, sealing to ensure water tight
- Connected associated pipework to existing isolation valves
- Comprehensive testing throughout and test certificates provided
